
ABOUT ME
Ali Hirèche was born in 1976 in Paris, where he began his musical studies with the Spanish pianist and composer Antonio Ruiz-Pipó. At the age of 15, he moved to Italy and continued his education at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of Ricardo Risaliti.
In 1997, he graduated with the highest honors and praise, simultaneously entering the Imola Academy "Incontri con il Maestro" which gave him the opportunity to participate in Master Classes with Alexander Lonquich, Andrei Jazinsky, and Louis Lortie.
Subsequently, he attended the Piano Foundation of Cadenabbia where he perfected his skills with renowned artists such as Andreas Staier, Dimitri Baschkyrov, Charles Rosen, Peter Frankl, Boris Berman.
From a young age, he has performed both in recitals and with orchestras in Italy, Germany, Austria and has participated in numerous international competitions, winning several awards: Rovere D'Oro International Competition (1993), Senigallia International Competition (1995), Critics' Prize at the Taranto European Competition (1998), Second Prize at the Luciano Gante International Competition, First Prize at the Venice Prize (1999).
Later, he won the first prize at the Mée sur Seine international meetings, exclusively for graduates of international competitions, and was invited by prestigious concert seasons: in Milan, Venice (PalaFenice, Teatro Malibran), Palermo (Teatro Politeama with the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra), Bologna (Teatro Comunale for the Bologna Festival), Padua, Varese, Rome, Riva del Garda Festival with the Junge Philharmonie Salzburg orchestra…

After spending several years in Italy, Hirèche returned to France, where he has performed many times at Salle Cortot and in festivals such as Piano en Valois, Cordes sur Ciel, Deauville, Pays Briard. In 2007, he debuted in South Africa with the Durban Symphony Orchestra conducted by Nicholas Cleobury.
He has recorded for major radio broadcasters such as France Musique, Rai, and Radio Classica (as the author and producer of the program "Il Pianista").
Among his most recent CDs, all enthusiastically received by the international press, are the Variations on a theme by Paganini and other Variations by Brahms, the 24 Studies by Chopin, "Ventanas", an anthology of Spanish authors (Mompou, Falla, and Ruiz Pipó), Schumann with Kreisleriana and Davidsbündlertänze.
